Sidecar News!

We are moving and will be closed for just over a week, from April 14th, reopening on Monday 22nd April at our new, larger premises, opposite our existing address.

Did you know that Motopodd fit any make of sidecar to any bike? We are happy to refurbish your used sidecar too. Take a look at our recently completed Triumph Bonneville / Ural outfit, in the Gallery.

It's been a great year at Motopodd, 2013 is going to be even better! We are working on bespoke sidecars for customers at the moment, as well as continuing development of our new ScooterPodd sidecar and our new Dual Sport sidecar.

We are now agents for the new range of steel bodied Simply Sidecars from our friends at F2 Motorcycles, the Dart and the Swift. We are also agents for the Velorex UK range of sidecars

This means that we will be able to provide a sidecar to meet just about anyone's needs.
But what of our original Podd sidecar? We are looking to bring this back later in the year, so if it just has to be a Podd, we ask you to please be patient for a little while longer.

Our Podd sidecar is not currently in production and we have now sold all of the last batch made. Sadly these have become too expensive to make and until we are able to reduce the cost of producing them without compromising quality, they are on hold. We will be making these again, but not until later next year. We will be launching two new sidecars, which we are concentrating our efforts on at the moment. One is a dual purpose sidecar, designed to suit adventure style bikes as well as road bikes, the other is a scooter sidecar. Please check back here for details of both soon. *****

Motopodd have been nominated by David Lidington MP for the "Made By Britain" project. This brings national recognition for our sidecars in terms of design excellence and British manufacturing.
